Foxx and West Rap With Rolling Stone

The latest
Rolling Stone has interviews with both
Jamie Foxx and
Kanye West (respectively), discussing the past year and other assorted topics. A few highlights:
Foxx on what songs he plays to get women in the mood,
"You got to have a Prince record called "Do Me, Baby." You got to have Heatwave's "Always and Forever." The whole archive of Luther Vandross will get it going."
.Foxx on his dream back-up band:
"Sheila E on the drums, Herbie Hancock on the keys, Earth, Wind and Fire singing backup vocals, Prince and Slash on guitar, Randy Jackson on percussion, Wayman Tisdale on bass, Kenny G on the sax with Branford Marsalis, and Wynton Marsalis on trumpet."
West on the double-standard of fighting racism vs. homophobia:
"We fought so hard to make it so white people couldn't say the word "nigger" to our face. But it's not far-fetched to picture a black person calling a gay person a fag to their face. So that shows you the climate, where we're at right now. And it's not about racism, it's about discrimination."
